Christopher is a designer. Sure, he’s also an expert strategist, a marketing rock star, a sage (and student) of emerging social-media technologies and many other refined things. But his passion for visual communication and talent for organization fuel his engine – and make him the best at what he does.
His professional journey straddles two distinct visual-design eras. Chris studied advertising at the BOCES Technical Trade School on Long Island and assembled a full portfolio before taking his first class at the Art and Design Institute of Pittsburgh. Design was a more conventional craft back then, a paste-up world with old-school standards.
After earning his degree, Chris spent years honing old skills – and developing new ones – at The Visual Edge in San Francisco and Scitex of America in Los Angeles. By the time he co-founded LKGS Marketing in 1997, the visual whiz kid was well on his way to mastering web- and desktop-design aptitudes and to understanding the requirements of a topflight 21st century marketing professional.
At LKGS, Chris and his partners concentrated on emerging electronic tools to build technology-based marketing services, and got so good at it they decided to create a whole new entity with a laser-like focus on modern techniques – New Media Marketing & Communications Inc., where lead-generation, database management, search-engine optimization and other web-based trends set the tone. This “full spectrum of technological marketing skills,” as Chris puts it, helps New Media create turnkey communications programs for clients that not only deliver the message, increase efficiency and weigh cost considerations, but do it all from an eco-sensitive, “green” point of view.
The kid who liked to draw and cut his teeth in the prepress industry is now the man who can, within one meeting, completely evaluate a client’s needs and visualize a ground-up marketing strategy to meet them. From design and production to implementation and maintenance, Chris has at his command the expertise of two eras, the energy to use it and the savvy to make it all look just right.
He is, after all, a designer.

This sharp attention to both administrative concerns and presentation has served the Art Institute of Pittsburgh graduate well. After honing his artistic skills as a video producer, design consultant and retail advertising executive across the Midwest, Mike came to New York and focused on corporate management. As president of operations for ColorGraphic Studios, he designed national advertising campaigns for well-known clients including Revlon, Coppertone, Opti-Ray and Mattel Toys.
Combining his nose for business with his talent for creative solutions, Michael launched his own company, MK Designs, in 1992 and later a second enterprise, Executive Marketing Services. He then joined forces with some of the most talented designers, programmers, producers and sales professionals in the advertising business to form LKGS Marketing.
Michael and his team took LKGS to an entirely new level in 2008 by reforming the company into New Media Marketing. As chief executive of this next-level foray into modern corporate communications, Michael has developed and managed creative campaigns for such major-league accounts as Sony, AOL, Land O’Lakes and Minuteman Press.
From the boardroom to the drawing board, there is no professional hill too steep, no creative challenge too great, for the artist who became the executive. That’s Michael’s attitude … and the fuel that fires New Media.

At New Media Marketing, it is important not only to create solid advertising programs for our clients, but to make sure their media investment is comprehensive and sound. That's the approach taken by Joe, whose multimedia background has provided him with a firm foundation in developing marketing strategies.
Joe began his career in 1980, when he joined Huntington Cable as an advertising sales representative for the company’s television guide. In 1984, he moved to Cable Ad Reps, where he became vice president of sales, honing his expertise in television and video production.
In 1988, he co-founded Executive Marketing Services, a full-service marketing and advertising agency headquartered in Greenlawn, NY. “Once we begin a client advertising plan, we encourage them to boost their effort with the additional tools that will support their media initiatives, such as Internet marketing, sales tracking databases and traditional direct mail and direct e-mail, sales collateral and more," says Joe, who has created highly successful plans for a diversity of clients, ranging from vitamin companies to colleges, financial institution, marinas and more. “No matter what the product or service, an innovative, well-thought-out marketing program will result in successful sales.”
